So someone I know solely online who seems pretty awesome is in need of some voice help. I am like the wrongest person to ask, but she’s not exactly in the best financial situation so I was wondering if I can kick my Tumblr Trans* Army into gear here.

Here’s what she needs:

Cheap or free training videos/tapes/whatever for help working on making your voice sound more “typically female.” I can give general advice but I know there’s expertise out there.

Any help/ideas/links/etc are awesome. You can also email me at inchoaterica at gmail dot com (if you’re not an MRA yelling at me, lol) if you’d rather roll that way.

A tip from an individual with rudimentary understanding of medical care: don’t do this, don’t suggest doing this, don’t even think of doing this.

Apply pressure and attach a bandage, a rag, a bit of tissue paper or super glue is better than this because what you’re doing is applying a salmonella breeding ground /directly/ to an open wound and holy shit is that a really good way to get yourself fucked up right quick.

So, again, don’t ever do this, it’s a terrible fucking idea and will wind up fucking you over a lot worse than any open wound on it’s own could.
