So, this is cute and all. But can I please just say how SICK TO DEATH I am of the notion that when masculine-presenting people* do traditionally feminine things, it’s liberating; but that when a feminine-presenting person** does the same thing, it’s because they are “caught up in obsolete gender roles.”

Just. Fuck. No. This here femme is gonna throw on a damn polka-dot apron and make some damn cookies for herself, because fuck.

*Usually cisdudes, but I’ve heard transdudes and butches all up in this line of thinking, too.

**Seems like this line of thinking is aimed almost invariably at femme cisladies, though that might be my own POV interfering with my observation there.
