The fantastic Betsy Phillips of the Nashville Scene and Tiny Cat Pants, author of A City of Ghosts, interviewed me for the Scene’s blog, Pith in the Wind, about my 2011 Rhysling Award nomination, SF/F and speculative poetry.
Somehow I managed to work in the travesty that is the Disney version of The Little Mermaid, effective graverobbing in pre-refrigeration England, theories about souls, and a whole bunch of links to poems, my own and others. I hope you enjoy it! (As always, of course, if you’ve a mind to, you can join the Science Fiction Poetry Association, get the Rhysling Anthology and a year’s worth of Star*Line as part of your membership, and vote on all the fantastic poetry that’s up for the awards this year.)
